Haselrig was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and spent his childhood and early adulthood living in several regions of the United States, including Savannah, Georgia; Carmel, Indiana; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; Las Vegas, Nevada; New York City; and Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Grand Rapids Christian High School.

He pursued higher education across multiple institutions, studying marketing, business administration, photojournalism, and film and television. His academic background includes attendance at High Point University, Ball State University, and Columbia College Chicago, where he focused on film and television with an emphasis on visual storytelling.

He is the founder of Positive Space Media, a communications and media company that develops platforms across film and television, advertising, journalism, education, and emerging technology. The company emphasizes long-term brand development, institutional partnerships, and the use of media as economic infrastructure.

In addition to Positive Space Media, Haselrig founded 1210 Marketing Group, a creative and marketing firm that works with brands, institutions, and public-sector partners, and Blue Zone Private Capital, an investment platform focused on incubating, acquiring, and supporting independent operating companies. Across his ventures, Haselrig’s work integrates creative strategy, capital formation, and operational discipline. His business activities span media production, advertising, education initiatives, technology, food and distribution ventures, artificial intelligence applications, and private investment vehicles supporting founder-led businesses.
